The following video demonstrates the cycle of excellence at the U-M Medical School. Bob Bartlett, M.D., was a U-M medical student taught by clinicians and scientists. In turn, as a faculty member, he created the technology of ECMO, which has supported care for more than 60,000 people around the world.
